Features of Mother Murphy’s Products
No artificial scents
The scent comes from organic infused oils or organic essential oils and/or herbal hydrosols I create. The result is a lightly scented product that dissipates quickly so you don’t smell the soap all day. I sometimes use fragrance oils in my soaps due to costumer requests. This is always noted in the ingredients.
Most soaps can be made into liquid soaps
I have created Light Lemon, Refreshing Rose, Calming Chamomile Calendula, Rosemary Sage, Cedarwood Tea Tree with activated charcoal, Lavender with activated charcoal, Lime Ginger Neroli; the possibilities are endless. I’m working on some blends for seasonal bars. I sometimes add exfoliants such as ground herbs and flowers, citrus zests, super finely ground coffee beans, ground oatmeal, and jojoba beads. I having been creating luxury soaps that include Tussah silk and plan to have several types of bars ready before the winter holidays.
I can provide customized products and scents
Just for you customized products for your skin care needs. Keep in mind that soaps must cure for 4 – 6 weeks prior to use. I love to learn about customer preferences for scents as will as to address specific skin care needs.

Safe Low Waste Home Care Products
Some of Mother Murphy’s products contain plant based microbials as preservatives.
These preservatives are not as strong as synthetic preservatives so our products have a shorter shelf than most of use are used to. Refrigerating products will help to extend the shelf life of most products. Using the spatulas provided for some products rather that dipping your fingers into them will also help prevent introducing bacteria to the products.
