Up and running, albeit slowly …
We are back from our grand two-week adventure to the Olympic Peninsula! We had such a great time, but I am happy to be home and creating again. I was able to get my Refreshing Rose bar soap made today and am a little concerned about the color. It is way darker than I planned but the colors do change as the soap cures. I’ll take some pictures during this process. This amazing bar is made with shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, castor oil, sweet almond oil, with the addition of hibiscus, rose petals, rose ESO, helichrysum oil, and argon oil. The bars will be unmolded and cut tomorrow. As a reminder, bar soaps take 4 – 6 weeks to cure but the wait is well worth it. The Refreshing Rose Bars will be ready no later than November 21, 2022.
